My main achievement was to complete a challenge set by Linda Jones of the Wireworkersguild blog
Make a piece that can be repeated.
So here is my pendant
here is the pattern in a chain
When I mirrored the pattern I tried the idea of a teardrop
but settled on a central bead.
The earrings and evil eye necklace are available for sale on my shop Polly Polkadot
This is gorgeous! I'm very impressed.
ReplyDeleteWow! I was surprised how different the shape looks when turned on its' side, and how combining several of them can have such a different effect. I like the 'chain' version best I think!
ReplyDeleteLovely swirlies, the plain pendant looks so pretty, it's really good photographed against the blue too.

Your jewellery is so elegant, love this swirl design
ReplyDeleteI love how the same design is used in different ways and takes on such a different look - a great success, I think!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for taking part in Handmade Monday on my blog x
I love the simplicity and elegance of the design... something I would really like to own :)
ReplyDeleteVery delicate looking and like you I think the stone looks best within the swirls. hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteI've often tried wire jewellery... only to have to kind of use the twisted rubbish I've produced as some kind of hidden bin thing ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are really nicely designed! Glad someone has the touch!
Thanks for all your lovely comments.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've tried to make a design work in so many different ways.
Normally I have made my mind up before I start - so there is definately a very good learning point for me there.
