Men can't wrap

I don't want to shatter any illusions you may hold, but men can't wrap.  I base this statement on a Christmas job, selling perfume in a department store.  Perfume comes in a rectangular box, but the panic that crossed the men's faces as they discovered we had no wrapping facility, proved it.

So for Valentine's Day I have produced a teeny, tiny gift bag, just big enough to hold a jewellery box.  Fastened with a bit of Velcro, they won't even drop the present on the way home!

  1. I have sent your link to Mr Whizz Kid - not only is he not a wrapping person but neither a gift person either!

  4. What a brilliant idea and I love your bags. I'm with Annabelle though ... hubby struggles to buy in the first place unless he has a list of what I would like, with the exact shop to go to etc., written on too. Our conversation last night ... he was purchasing something from Amazon and asked if there was "anything else we need whilst I'm on" ... and I joked "you could get my birthday present if you hadn't got it sorted already" ... he looked up with utter shock on his face and gasped "birthday?" Er, yes, it rolls around on the same day each year. "Haven't you ordered yourself something?" he asked "I haven't had time to think". Needless to say, an argument ensued! Oh and it has cost him a gorgeous new drawer unit thingy in which to store all my Tim Holtz stuff ... that'll teach him not to bother! Love Debbie #69 xXx
